Picture is the key of sharing..

I received this cake from BIL's girlfriend, yeah, a big surprise from hubby. I didn't love the taste but Jo loves it so much until he finished 3 slices and totally forgotten about his lunch and dinner. I received the Estee Lauder's perfume from hubby on 16 February during his return from China. This year i have double happiness from him. Hope he can keep this on... :)

My FIL had a joyous afternoon to swim with his grandchildren on the second day of CNY. At first, Jo refused to dip himself inside the pool but finally hubby put him inside the pool successfully.

I managed to take Jo's funniest look while we had our lunch at Hilltop. He told us the Lemon- Teh-O is very "spicy". But i think should be very "sourly".

I had my 3D baby scan on 26 Feb. That's a wonderful scan i have ever seen though it charged me RM200 per scan. The baby's face seems very clearly to me, i found that he looks like Jo, yeah, another little naughty boy that Jo can play or even fight with. You know, i just can't wait myself to hold him real now..i love you my little boy!

About the baby

I had my third checkup on 9 February, doctor confirmed the baby 100% is a BOY! We have shortlisted the baby name to Elijah, at first hubby wanted to name the baby as Joseph but finally we gave up as one of our churchmate also choosing Joseph as his son name.

I started to feel his movement when i was just about 12 weeks pregnant and now he is getting very active especially at night. I have to increase my trips to loo too due to his actively stretching. Just imagine i have to visit the toilet bowl 3 times within 10 minutes, but just few droplets down!

I saw him pulling his leg during my last checkup, just very sudden i found myself can't wait to see him real in face to face. I was so delighted when seeing him squirming here and there through the scan. He is definitely more active than Jo as i never seen Jo had this kind of movements throughout my pregnancy. Or perhaps my previous doctor not scanning my tummy as detail as this doctor?

Baby development is good, but mother's health is waiting to be improved as i suffered the brown color discharge started on last Wednesday (7 Feb). Other than discharge, i couldn't stand long and even walk as i felt like something is very "heavy" there. Anyway, i feel ok now as i try to rest more and decrease my heavy walking. That's why i didn't go to internet cafe for the pass few days and didn't able to do my blogs hopping. So sorry if i can't leave any comment on your blog, i will try to catch up everything once i go back to China..

Last, wish you all Happy Valentine's Day!!

Tongue-tie

Jo is almost 3 years old but his speech development still slightly lagging behind. He can speak but he has problems with some of the words pronunciation especially "s" and "f" sounds. I had been thinking he might outgrow the problems as he grows, but he still having the problems though the couple of months had past. I tried hard to rectify his pronunciation and till sometimes he really made my blood boiled. Though i know that's no point to raise my voice to him, i understand he been trying hard but still can't get the exact pronunciation.

Kids take time to learn something new and even it takes time to help a weak kid into a right pace. I know the rule but just can't control myself to scold him. I guess my unconsciously reacted might pressure him and have been making him so reluctant to improve his speech development.

I told his paed about his situation on last Monday (29 Jan 07) when Jo was having his JE last jab. Doctor checking his tongue and confirmed me that he has a minor tongue-tie problem. Doctor assured me that 80% of kids with tongue-tie problem will outgrow their speech problems when their grow up. Tongue-tie problem will even get distinctly when the kid reaches to 7 or 8 years old, then only a minor surgery is required for the tongue. So i really hope my Jo will be one of them out of this 80%.

I found another problem after the speech episode. I am suspecting Jo has color-blindness problem after been playing few times of color matching with him. He can't differentiate the blue and green colors when i asking him to find their pairs. He would match blue with green but others are fine in matching.

I told my hubby about this color-blindness problem over the phone, he sounded angrily and complaining me always over acting a little issue. But as a mother, what should i do when i found something abnormal, can't tell and discuss with hubby then who should i head to?

Do you believe that when you saying something about other kids then your kid might get the same problem? I really hope some people can stop criticizing others...

What happened?

What happened to blogspot again? Why i can't access my comment and even can't leave comment for some blogger's page? Any idea to solve this problem?

I don't hope to migrate to wordpress as accessing wordpress in China is a big suck for me..

Jo can show "PEACE"

Jo has no problem showing his finger(s) into 1, 3, 4 and 5 but definitely not 2 (Peace). He just couldn't show it no matter how i taught him, but he can show "Peace" at last by himself on 26 Jan 07. He was so delighted and shown to me, haha..finally, the big potato (Tai Fan Xu) could master his finger(s) well. He used to make his fingers into 3 then he would use his other hand to put his ring finger under his thumb, then the "Peace" only can be shown! I tried to record the way he playing his fingers, he stopped immediately and told me he doesn't know how to show it. I know he's just too shy to be in the camera.

My pregnancy update

This's actually was a well planned pregnancy, i did every single calculation and surfed through the net about the way to have a baby girl, and i even bought the ovulation tester to examine my exact ovulation day. I had followed all methods to try for a baby girl. Then came to morning sickness that i had never experienced for my first pregnancy, i puked occasionally (last puked on 19 Jan) and my forehead is full of little pimples and my face look dull. My taste buds also difference compare to previous one, i like spicy most of the time and i have to take at least 4 meals per day to satisfy my craving. However, i didn't gain much weight approximately about 2kg from the beginning till now. For my deep inside, i have always been thinking should be a baby girl this round. However, all my hard efforts finally also can't surpass the natural predetermination.

I had my second prenatal checkup on 5 Jan, at first doctor told me "should be a girl" but she said opposite after 5 mins, ya, myself saw the "little bird" too, and finally she said "high chance to get boy again". She continued saying "still early to confirm the gender, let's be confirmed on next checkup". But, i know the truth for sure..I called hubby and told him the news, he was happy as he always wants more boys at home.

My little baby is very active, he squirmed around when doctor doing the scan. I even saw him sucking his finger (not sure which finger) and drinking water. He faced up for the first few seconds and faced bottom at another seconds, he is more active than Jo as i never seen this before when with Jo inside. Maybe my previous doctor not explained as details as this doctor. And this baby has a high bridged nose that like hubby, emm...i think he will be very handsome next time (hehe..so thick face). I brought Jo along during my scan, he was so curios to ask me "what is this" on everything. Really headache to answer him!

All the while, Jo liked to say the baby would be a meimei, but now he has changed his mind and keeps telling me baby is a didi. I asked him why he diverted his saying, he answered "doctor said is didi, so is didi".

Photos updating

Especially for my hubby...

Jo's hair no longer looked fine and smooth after the trimming. But good for him to attend kindy.

Brennen and Jo with the spec from maternal grandfather.

He fell sick after 1 week to school, but he didn't as sick as in China, at least this time only flu happened and recovered by himself without any medicine. However, he didn't look sick as he still could smile happily.

He always has joyful time in KK, look at the photo then you will know.

A long story...

Most of the mommies thought i am from KL, emm..actually i am from KK, Sabah, so does my hubby. I was staying in KL over the past 9 years, so my Jo is a Selangor born child. I am going back to Sabah tomorrow with my Jo, will be staying there till March. I am worrying how to bring Jo boarding the flight as he keeps saying he doesn't want to go back. He said his papa will be very pity to stay alone without him, how sweet and touch when his papa heard this. :)

I am in dilemma now, i feel like not going back too but i know i can't cancel my trip as my parents also looking forward on my return. In fact, i miss those foods too, i even dreamt about those foods occasionally like fried meehoon, nasi lemak, asam laksa and the famous pork noodle ("sang nyuk mian") in KK too. I miss the sun and beach there, i miss my family and friends but i know my Jo will miss his papa when his papa not around. We are going to apart more than 6 weeks this time, however this is just a beginning as from June onwards, Jo and me will be staying in Sabah as i am going to deliver my baby there. Hopefully he can stay well there without his papa along.

Since i won't be online as frequent as in China due to no internet connection in my house, so i am announced a long blog break now. I will continue my blog hopping again once i am back to China. So, let me to greet you all Happy Valentine & Happy Chinese New Year in advance. :)

Below is the backdated post:

Happening 1
Jo had puked thrice over the Christmas week (Monday, Friday & Saturday), the serious one was on 22/12, he puked over hubby's shirt when we just went inside the hotel to have our Winter Solstice buffet. Jo looked pale and languid on the chair, so i mixed up two chairs in order he could take a short nap there. He even shown no interest over his favor fruit cake, so he didn't take any food over the whole night.

On 24/12, we went to HK to buy my digital camera, i puked when the taxi just arrived the custom, i didn't take my puked as a troubled as i thought was due to car sickness but my situation was getting worse during our shopping in HK. I felt cold and nausea and had another puked once i just stepped in my house. The wretchedly episode kept contunuing for me to had another twice puked on Christmas Day, i was so weak until i had to lie on the bed for the whole day, other than nausea i suffered dizziness too. My Jo suffered diarrhea on the eve too, then the germs just spreaded to hubby. Hubby's tummy upset last till 27/12, so we suspected we had food poisoning as we took oyster on the day of Winter Solstice.

Santa Claus looks so scary for Jo, he wanted to take photo with him when he first saw him. Jo looked extremely cheerful when we were queueing for our turn, but he cried out and insisted not to take photo with Santa Claus once right to our turn. Of course i won't miss the chance, look at the photo then you will know how was him, he just looked very unhappy and fearful when taking this photo.

Happening 2

I knew Jazz on 2004, that time she still pregnant with Faythe and finally i met her first time when she was in Shen Zhen on 27/12. My Jo was so happy and rapturous when both Jazz and her hubby at my home, he loves her hubby so much although they speak different language. He even wanted to follow her hubby away and cried when they just left my house. He kept asking me where are uncle and aunty. So i told him if we have chance to go back to KL, i will bring him to meet her hubby again, provided he still remembers him.

The beginning of year 2007

Hubby had to go back to office on 1 Jan as having a stock count, it first assumed to take 2 hours to finish but ended up it used 6 hours to finish. It was about 5pm when he reached home so we just took Jo to the park and let him had a sit on rowing boat. He had a great time over there as he could sip his Cola, Sprite and tried his first candy floss in his life.

We headed for our dinner after the park dawdling, as usual, Jo thrown up his bad tantrum again while we just stepping in the restaurant. I don't know why he hates this restaurant so much, at first we thought maybe due to the altar (we're Christian) that frustrating him so we did a detouring to enter from the side door that won't passby the altar. First time (31/12) he said he doesn't like this restaurant as it has bad guy inside, but yesterday he said he doesn't like the restaurant is because they don't have high chair, oh, ya, the high chair in this restaurant no longer fitted him as he looks so HIGH when he is sitting inside. Sometimes this little fella just likes to give us unreasonable excuses to cover his tantrum. He looked grumpiness during the dinner and even trying to toss the cup to the floor as he insisted to have the paper for his own pleasure. The paper is used to jot the orders, somemore the waitress was kind enough to give him another pieces but he insisted to have the first original piece of paper that clipped inside the hard file. He still persisting his grumpiness after few coaxing from hubby, so finally hubby treated him for few hits by using the chopstick. Then only the episode ended..

After dinner, we went to Carrefour to do my last shopping before i am going back to Sabah this coming Thursday, i bought 5 bags over there and bought a pair of shoes for Jo. His special orthopaedic shoes no longer fitted his big feet, we had bought him 5 pair of shoes on last year(2 pairs of Dr.Kong's orthopaedic shoes, Adidas sport shoes, Adidas sandals and Puma sport shoes), he outgrew them so fast, just like blinking eyes a while and he's already outgrown them. So yesterday i bought him a very cheap shoes (RMB50) in order to let him wearing when we are going on flight.

That's what happened on my very very first day on 2007. No count down since we slept very earlier the previous night as we has lost our adolescent interest in celebrating the new year. Anyway, may God bless us throughly in this brand new year. Oh, God bless you too..:)

p/s: Sorry for the tiny photo above. Must save a bit storage space LOL!

Before the END..

Today is the last day of 2006, so better to write down something to mark the end of this year. :)

Just very sudden i found out my Jo has grown up so much, and he no longer a little baby who used to sit inside his stroller while shopping. He prefers to run around the mall with his cheeky smile and squealling sound, and he likes to do his own shopping to toys shop. Just within a week from 24/12 till 31/12, only 3 days he didn't bring toy back to home as we didn't go out, yes, i know that we are spoiling him.

We spent our 30/12 in HK again as HK has a year end crazy sales till 1/1/07, that's a fruitful and tired trip. Jo only had 1/2 hour nap time in car rode on he way to Lo Wu, but 1/2 hour already enough for him to be extremely energetic in the mall. It's tired to keep eyes on him while had to hunt our own things, so finally i brought him to McDonald and let hubby had his own peace time to hunt for his shoes. Jo loves McDonald so much as he could gobble down his fries and cola without much restriction of mommy, of course has the toy that FOC.

When i told him we're going down to HK later, he even asked me these "go and buy ABARE's car car for Jojo?", "ABARE's car car very pretty?"...He loves this AbaRanger (Japanese Cartoon) so much lately, before AbaRanger, he loved Ultraman and he always self-proclaimed himself as an Ultraman. But now, he is an "ABare Blue".

He looked so puzzled when choosing the Abare, which one is better??

Finally, he opted this "Abare Black & Raptor Set".

We headed back home around 8.30pm with our victorious goods (Timberland 30% off & 2%'s Bag 40% off). By the way, Jo slept throughout the way back home and only took his dinner at 11pm.

Blog Break

I can't access internet smoothly after the earthquake happened on Tuesday night, the connection here is extremely slow, so i think maybe can take this time to have a blog break too.

My place could feel the quake too, but maybe i am pregnant and became more clumsy so i was totally couldn't feel it. Hubby felt it and asked me could feel it or not, i even said maybe he was sick so felt something abnormal, and maybe just the impaction of renovation outside. Both staying in same house, but one felt it another one just like nothing.

See you all after New Year 2007! Happy New Year to you all!

p/s: 2 backdated posts (about food poisoning on Christmas & met my first blogger mummy, Jazzmint) will be up soon, stay tuned. :)

We started our snapping at the Snoopy Park right after we bought it, it was about 150 pieces photos saved in the memory card, and i don't know why i could be so stupid to wrong PLAY with the format button, and the photos from Christmas Eve, Christmas Day till today Boxing Day are all gone! I miss my Jo's sweety smiles that had being captured..Today just a BAD DAY for me..i feel like i wanna to bang myself to wall...

A letter to Jo.

It's like yesterday i just took you out from hospital, time really flies and you're 33 months old now.

I pray God to give you a strong body that you can withstand all the sickness, and pray angels keep eyes on you away from all the bad happenings, last, i pray God that you are a happy and joyful boy as your Chinese name stated. Amen.

33 months old

Jojo turned 33 months old officially on 15.12.06. He dislikes reading, most of the kids will look for the desire books when they shop to bookstore, but my Jo is opposite, he would go to the disc racks and hunt for his lovely cartoon and use his cry as a weapon to force us pay for him. He even said "i am very pity, why i have to read book?", can you imagine what a little boy's thought of reading, is it as a pressure? In fact, we never forced him to read and never forced him to remember certain of things, everything we introduced to him was in fun basis, but he acts so reluctantly. Secondly, he doesn't like nursery songs (blamed mommy barely listened one when pregnant him) but he would sing the Japanese cartoon song when TV is broadcasting the cartoon, of course he is not capable singing a complete song. Apart from reading and singing, he is just so excellent in everything especially his dexterity, he ever said this before "I want be Number One in racing but not in reading" (我赛跑拿第一,我不要读书第一), as a mother what will you do when you heard this? Just let him be what he wants to be or hold the cane and force him to sit for reading? Both ain't, we trying to cultivate a good reading environment for him as we believe persistent cultivation sure can upbringing a love reading child. I just hope his current interest in reading is not equall to future, in case not, i just don't know what is the remedial for his declined.

Jo said these..

Jo is started to show his masculine act that he wants to be stronger and even bigger in size. As he said, he wants to protect his mommy.

M - Jojo, you're a bad guy.
J - No, i'm a policeman.
M - You're a monster.
J - No, i'm Ultraman. (His favor personated character)
M - You're a little mouse.
J - No, i'm a cat.
M - OK, you're a cat.
J - No, i'm "Alex The Lion". (Sure you will know who is Alex The Lion if you ever watched Madagascar before)
M - You're a monkey.
J - No, i'm a pig, pig 胖胖(fat), monkey 廋廋(thin).
M - You're a frog.
J - No, i'm kangaroo 会跳跳 (can jump jump).

But when i said he is a kor-kor now, he will insist he is still a baby!
A myth saying that little kids always can predict a correct gender by asking them, so i asked Jo,
M - Jojo, mommy's baby is di-di or mei-mei?
J - mei-mei.

5 mins after, i asked him again,
M - Jojo, mommy's baby is di-di or mei-mei?
J - Is a monster. (是怪兽)
M - *speechless*

Another 5 mins after,
M - The baby is mei-mei or di-di?
J - di-di.
So, is what?

The other day, he even stepped my tummy and said "I don't like the baby, i want to step the baby". Why suddenly acted so cruel and not thoughtful? Emm..I think the mind of sibling rivalry has being started and sprouting gradually at this moment.

What a dull reading a post without photo, i love this photo so much, not because the people but is the background, the withered forest.

Yi-yi-Yap-yap at Park

I know i was so bad as i sneakily taking these photos! But, i think the couples won't mind it since they already doing openly at one of the famous park in my area. It's very common to see couples "pak-tor" at park, but this white shirt one really made a big scene for me as he was very hungry to fond the girl's breast and the girl's body was almost half exposure for public seeing. Be frankly, the fondling and kissing absolutely were an eye-opener for me, as first time i watched in real-making LOL!

They are quite young, i guess they about 18 or 20, sigh, pity their parents! If want to do something, please do secretly, don't uglify the natural beauty of the park LOL! Somemore that day was Saturday, was a congested day for public to visit there. They are so young until don't know how to protect themselves, poor girl, such a young age already been seeing by so many people. I don't think they first time doing this LOL!

What Tarot Card are You?

You are The Star

Hope, expectation, Bright promises.

The Star is one of the great cards of faith, dreams realised.

The Star is a card that looks to the future. It does not predict any immediate or powerful change, but it does predict hope and healing. This card suggests clarity of vision, spiritual insight. And, most importantly, that unexpected help will be coming, with water to quench your thirst, with a guiding light to the future. They might say you're a dreamer, but you're not the only one.

What Tarot Card are You?

Cough, cough go away..

Jo's stubborn cough finally being cured after giving him the "Zithromax". My paed ever told me before that i can feed "Zithromax" for Jo if the sickness seems to be fitfully happened. It is a good antibiotik that cured Jo's bad cough which had already last about 3 weeks, and the 7 types of cough syrup can finally be putting aside. I hope he can gain back his weight though he still need to take the unhealthy delivery rice service, boy, we are going back to Sabah soon, just be tolerate a short while, ok?

I'm thankful that God given me a very easy caring son. He never got the fever, flu, cough or diarrhea before 1, and even the teething period also like nothing happened to us. I'm thankful too as i have a good nanny who had given an extremely good care to Jo. I sent my Jo to her on 19 July 2004 (Jo was 4 months old), from the first day till November 2005, my Jo fell sick once only which was happened on his first birthday. I have a superboy who achieved every milestone earlier than the chart's mentioned. He managed to rollover himself left and right when he was 4 months old, he started his first crawl when he was 5 months old and his first step when he was 10 months old. Apart from dexterity, he was a slow talker if compare to his peers. But nevermind, at least he can talk perfectly now...fast or slow seems doesn't matter.

But after we are residing here, the situation has changed as he always tends to fall sick especially this year 2006, we had been visited different doctors in different areas from KL, KK(Sabah), Macau, China to HK, that's not a good experience to be a hospital-goer especially with a sick kid who needs extra handling and caring. Somemore we don't have our own transport here, it's really havoc to take a public transport to consult a doctor.

I hope my Jo can stay healthy with guarding by angels and God, please God, let's protect him away from sickness and let him fit enough to attend his class. From September till November, i have already lost count how many times he fell sick, but i can remember every month he only managed to attend 2 weeks and another 2 weeks have to stay at home waiting for recovering. Sigh..not because the fees i paid, the most worrying part is his healthy.

Boy, mommy will pray hard for you, ok? Even for the baby inside my tummy!

My Sunday in HK

My to do list:
Buy GNC's vitamin C
Buy digital camera or watch
Buy Jo's shoes
Buy a bag
Buy breastpump
Change Jo's toy

But...

Though hubby was kind enough to withdraw money from the ATM and prepared himself to pay my Christmas present, unfortunately, we only managed to change Jo's toys and the rest still on hold!

We were walking around to hunt a good digital camera from one place to another, but i still can't make up my mind which one is the best, i have 2 eyeing items, Canon (Digital IXUS 900 Ti or IXUS 750 Ti) and Olympus (MJU-750), actually both of them don't have special functions like Samsung does, but Samsung doesn't produce good photo quality than Canon and Olympus.

Then, hubby suggested we take a look on my Citizen watch since he planned to buy 2 presents for me, at first we thought it costs HKD1000+, but it costs HKD3000+ that even more expensive than the digital camera, crazy la, if this price i better buy other famous branded watch.

After i went to check the Avent's breastpump at Mothercare, but it's out of stock!

Then, we shopped to every sport shop to buy a sport shoes for Jo, from Adidas, Nike till Timberland, can you believe all ran out of sizes. OK, due to the season, i understand.

Last, i just felt tired to buy my vitamin C and bag as i felt very very down, walked the whole day but buy nothing. Luckily i had a good appetite to gobble down the beef steak and spaghetti.

So, on the way back to China, i just kept counting what my hubby had bought me throughout this year, oh, finally i remember, he bought me the Nokia N70 on 1 Jan, and a notebook on Valentine, ok la, if no Christmas present also nevermind !

Oh, ya, finally we managed to take a family photo that's long long due!
