No more Eczema

I finally have clue why last time Jo always developed an eczema, i always thought that is due to the food intake like egg, seafood and duck meat. But now only i know the culprit is because the clothes still have the detergent leftover which don't fully wash. For Jo's clothes, i have to wash 9 times (3 rounds of full machine washed), and now the eczema just stopped dramatically. :)

BB have Eczema since his a baby. Family doctor told me not to bath everyday, or don't use soap when bath. He use only Glaxobase lotion.
So far he is better now.
I know choosing laundry detergent is very important especially with eczema problem, I use the liquid for laundry, it will eliminate the problem.

That is great you discovered that. He will be much more comfortable without all of that itching. My daughter suffers from the same problem.

Do you use detergent that is meant for baby clothes? Sometimes that helps.

breastfeed will help bb to fight agaist eczema.

I used Tesco brand BB detergent. It's quite good as the aroma is not that strong while the liquid not really that strong. Also, it's cheap! cheapo mum...LOL

wow, 9times of washing!! That's alot. What about using a milder detergent for Jo? Maybe it's help and you don't have to wash so many rounds.

There are some bb product (like pigeon) quite good, not sure you can get it in China. Mild and yet able to wash dirt away.

Now that his eczema is cleared, it sure does lifted a load from your heart.

I used Pigeon detergent for washing Jo's clothes when we were in M'sia. But here, just used "Attack" since i think that he is no longer a baby...have to let his skin "adapt" the adult's detergent..emm...maybe should switch back to Pigeon, at least can save some water ma..:)

Whatever it is, so glad you found out the 'source' of the problem.

It's good that you discovered about the trigger. There are many eczema sufferers who can't even figure theirs. Still, I must say that you must be careful about the food that your kid eats.

Good to hear that the eczema is gone and you tracked the source. I agree witht he rest of the mummies that it is best you use a baby friendly detergent. Best if use those Hypoallergenic ones (Puree/Pigeon).
