He said he feels lonely

The other day back, hubby told me that he feels like doesn't want us to go back to Sabah..

He has checked out the fees of giving birth in HK, i was dumb when i heard the astronomical figure HKD40000++ with natural birth and one night staying in hospital. You can convert back this figure into Ringgit, and you can think how many kids you are able to have if in Malaysia. So bad, my hubby's company doesn't provide maternity benefit as his company not a MNC, if not maybe i will consider to give birth in HK. :)

I don't know he just said only or really feels lonely after we are back to Sabah, actually i think he must be very happy since,
  • he can sleep as earlier as possible
  • he can wake up as late as possible
  • he can "monopoly" the TV as nobody will say wanted to watch CARTOON
  • he can play game without any disturbance
  • he can watch TV till very late
  • he can drink till get drunk
  • he can substitute his water to beer every night
  • he can save more money
  • he can play sport every night
  • no more blockage (JO) when he is watching HEROES
  • no lights must be turned off before the witching hour
  • no more nagging from his wife
  • no more disturbing from his son
  • no more messy living room
So, do you think the Pros obviously more than Cons? Anyhow, i understand how he feels as suddenly a noisy house turns into a silent house, of course lonely la..but sooner or later he will get used of the environment and start enjoying to be the only one at home.

I am sure he will feel lonely being by himself. Despite all the things he can "enjoy" it won't be so enjoyable by himself at home. Well, you can tell him to enjoy it while he can coz when you return with an infant, the house will be even noiser than before!!

From a guy's point of view, I think he will definitely miss you, the cuddling, the together moments, the family.. Maybe the first few days, it will be so strange that he cannot bear it & will follow you home too! LOL.. Maybe only. On the other hand, it could be FREEDOM!!!!! MERDEKA!!? *naughty grin*

very expensive ... because company dosent cover. here also very exp if no insurance coverage. but if no insurance, then can discuss with the doctor if they can allow a discount on their fee.

so how long will you be back in sabah? 1 month? 2 months?

I'm sure he mean it..somehow nothing can replace the existance of his beloved wife and son. But tell him sooner or later he'll have no time to even think of being lonely when u are back with the 2nd baby.

When do u plan to go back to china after delivery? We are all gonna miss you as we understand u won't be able to log on so often in Sabah...:(

The cost of delivery in HK sure is exorbitant but the care & service are superbly 6 stars. My sil who gave birth to her son in HK also spent around HK$40-50k at a private hospital at The Peak. This fee includes all the immunizations for the bb.
Let ur hubby miss u & ur babies lar. When u return to HK, he will appreciate u all more, ha ha.

Wow...are they trying to discourage birth in HK? Anyway, my opinion is that your hubby will probably enjoy a few days (okay, maybe just one day) if you are not there. After that he will miss you guys like crazy! Trust me...
