This morning bought a goat's milk for Elijah, gosh, it charged RM43 for a small tin. Everyone keeps saying Elijah has jaundice and asked me to stop breastfeeding. I hate this very much, i found like it has a lot of barriers there to stop my "breastfeeding" journey. Like Sunday, i was forced to feed him Enfagrow mixed with Chinese herbal water, then today i was forced to buy the goat's milk for Elijah. Then, when can i continue my feeding? Even doctor said no jaundice be found, but i just don't know why people keep saying he has jaundice! So my breastfeeding exclusively plan has ruined!

Jaundice = stop breastfeeding
This morning bought a goat's milk for Elijah, gosh, it charged RM43 for a small tin. Everyone keeps saying Elijah has jaundice and asked me to stop breastfeeding. I hate this very much, i found like it has a lot of barriers there to stop my "breastfeeding" journey. Like Sunday, i was forced to feed him Enfagrow mixed with Chinese herbal water, then today i was forced to buy the goat's milk for Elijah. Then, when can i continue my feeding? Even doctor said no jaundice be found, but i just don't know why people keep saying he has jaundice! So my breastfeeding exclusively plan has ruined!

Har...Jaundice cannot bf meh??? But I bf Keith wor... I used to pump it out and then mix the herbal water for him to drink. When we went for check up, his Jaundice ngam ngam at the safe level.
Bf does not make jaundice any worse. If you doc says he is okay, just listen to him. If you're afraid, seek a 2nd opinion. Keep up the good work b/feeding and don't give in to negative remarks.
It's funny. Some paeds say that if a baby has jaundice, then cannot bf but some say otherwise. When Alycia had jaundice, my midwife asked me to bf her and true, the jaundice went away w/o any treatment.
I still bf my boy when he had juandice. If the doc said he's ok, then carry on bf.
I would go to the doctor for jaundice. It is common for Asian babies to get this. Both of my kids had it. But they just put them under a special light and that takes care of it. Nothing to do with milk. I would continue breastfeeding unless a doctor says to stop.
i also hate those ppl to pretend themself as doc and keep saying my baby having jaundice! i just ignore them!
